Local Metrolina PAHCOM Chapter History
The Local Metrolina PAHCOM Chapter was founded in January 1995 for the purpose of providing a support system to the managers of health care practices. The local chapter was started by a group of healthcare office managers who saw a need for networking and support for fellow managers in the Greater Charlotte region. Healthcare Office managers from various disciplines meet on a monthly basis to discuss information pertinent to risk management, managed care contracting, professional enrichment, personal growth, community outreach, and to stay apprised of changes in the political and technological environment.
